Woods introduced the information on his social media accounts on Tuesday.
“It’s with heartfelt unhappiness that I need to share that my expensive mom, Kultida Woods, handed away early this morning,” the 15-time main winner wrote.
“My mother was a power of nature all her personal, her spirit was merely simple. She was fast with the needle and amusing.
“She was my largest fan, best supporter, with out her none of my private achievements would have been potential.
“She was liked by so many, however particularly by her two grandchildren, Sam and Charlie.
“Thanks all on your assist, prayers and privateness at this tough time for me and my household. Love you Mother.”
Kultida Woods final week attended her son’s TGL match in Florida.
The previous world No 1’s father, Earl, died in 2006.
