After Matt Rempe suited up for simply two video games up to now this season, the New York Rangers are sending the bruiser to the Hartford Wolf Pack, the staff’s AHL affiliate.
The 22-year-old ahead hasn’t seen recreation motion since Oct. 19 and has only a mixed 11:17 of ice time throughout his two video games.
Rempe burst into the NHL within the 2023-24 season and rapidly made a reputation for himself as an enforcer. He racked up 71 penalty minutes in 17 video games, scoring one objective and one help on 5:38 common TOI.
Rempe performed 43 video games for the Wolf Pack final season, notching eight objectives and 12 factors with 96 penalty minutes.
The Calgary native was chosen within the sixth spherical of the 2020 NHL Draft by the Rangers. He beforehand performed within the WHL, serving as alternate captain for the Seattle Thunderbirds.
